Would you want a weekend in rome with or without coffee at the morning?
Well before committing to that, let`s talk about irrational behavior of people today. Irrational behavior of other people, of course!
Not your behavior:-).
The subject has to do with an interesting science discipline. It is called Behavioral economics.
Behavioral economics has evolved to be a separate branch of economic and financial analysis which applies scientific research on human and social, cognitive and emotional factors to better understand economic decisions by consumers, borrowers, investors. In a second step there is an analysis how those donations affect market prices, returns and the allocation of resources.
So after all Behavioral economics is that branch of one, which deals with the study and application of analysis with scientific approach on social, emotional factors for understanding the consumers, investors and the market, and the resources.
So today I want to introduce a very interesting video of behavioral economist Dan Ariely. Behavioral economist Dan Ariely, the author of Predictably Irrational, uses classic visual illusions and his own counter intuitive (and sometimes shocking) research findings.
Maybe we should reconsider the choice we took about organ donation after death after having seen this video? At least we will learn who we should take with us when we go out on saturday night:-).
If you only want to find out what you should consider structuring your opt in page you can jump in the video at minute 11.20.
But in my mind the whole video is just with awesome content and worth to watch fully.
So would you enjoy a weekend in Rome? Well before deciding you should watch this.
Let me know what you think. I was thrilled.
2 your learning success, Dirk
